I originally trained with the Scottish Yoga Teachers’ Association over 20 years ago. I was always drawn to the teachings of Swami Satyananda, an Indian yoga guru of world renown, and finally achieved my goal to qualify as a teacher of this tradition in 2003.

The approach of Satyananda yoga integrates the whole person not just the physical body. Emphasis is placed on awareness and practitioners are encouraged to explore and learn about the various aspects of their personality through yogic practices.

I teach Satyananda yoga in several locations throughout the Scottish Borders including gyms, village halls and schools.

I run monthly half day workshops in the Scottish Borders and West Lothian exploring yoga practices in further depth.

Full day workshops include: ‘Developing your own Practice’, ‘Creative Yoga’ and ‘Yoga and the Menopause’.
